My TMB FAQ

At this time, the online renewal/registration application for most license types can be found at: TMB Renewals (https://www.tmb.state.tx.us/page/renewals).

Once your registration/renewal is complete, please allow 2 business days for processing. After that time, you will be able to log into your MyTMB account and view, save or print a copy of your active license.

The username and password for a LIST account does not transfer to the My TMB account. You will need to create a My TMB account, please select the link in yellow text that says, ‘create an account.’

  • Enter your TMB license or your six-digit application ID number. If you are an APRN, please use your Board of Nursing license number.
  • Enter the last four (4) digits of your Social Security number.
  • Enter your date of birth using the format as shown (mm/dd/yyyy).

No, you will need to apply first. A TMB ID number will be required to create an account for new applicants. After you apply, please wait 24 hours to receive an automated email from the Board with your six-digit application ID number.

After you select ‘forgot username’, follow the steps to recover your username. The username will be sent to the registered email address for your My TMB account and mobile if provided. If not found, please check your spam folder. Please note that the username is the email address registered to the account.

After you select ‘forgot password’, follow the steps to recover your username. If you have created security questions, you will be randomly asked one of the security questions you selected. Since the security question is to verify your identity, please note that the Board will not be able to provide this information to you or any other person on your behalf.

Yes, you are going to use your old email address just as your username. Enter your Username and password if known. If your password is unknown, click on the "Forgot Password " link. Once you validate your credentials and create a new password, you can update your new email address for your account by selecting the Account link.

This may occur due to your internet settings. A pop-up blocker is a program that prohibits a pop-up at some point in time. This may consist of multiple internet windows, or actual pop-ups caused by coding on a webpage. Generally, pop-up blockers are installed to avoid pop-up ads from webpages. However, depending upon the pop-up blocker settings, it may block useful information as well. These could include option screens such as print and download options screens, or it could stop pop-ups which would confirm downloads or show a result to a page. Please review your settings to modify permissions to our site.

If you have already set up your account and have a mobile/cell phone number on file, you can validate your credentials, and have a mobile login code sent your phone. If you did not receive a login code, you do not have a mobile/cell phone number on file. Please use the forgot username or password for assistance.
